Econ - 13 Gallon Pressurized Portable Eyewash Station
Encon Safety Products' Pressurized Portable Eyewash Stations self-contained eyewash will provide proper irrigation for the fifteen-minute flushing period, as is the minimum requirement of the current ANSI Z358.1 performance standard for emergency shower and eyewash equipment. The self-regulated ABS plastic dual stream heads on a fixed extension provide non-injurious .4 gpm flow in a proper pattern to promote usage for the full 15 minutes. The stay-open actuator ball valve is pictorially marked and the integral maintenance and operation graphics provide excellent awareness for the eyewash location.
Filling with potable water, use of the Hydrosep® additive and pressurization with air will provide emergency station availability for over ninety days before maintenance is required. The brass pressure relief valve offers over pressure protection and the customfaced gauge make visual inspection simple and easy. Covers, attached with stainless steel bead chains, are provided to protect the delivery heads against airborne contaminants as the equipment is in the workplace ready for use.
