The Draeger Pac® 8000 is a non-disposable personal gas detector which detects hazardous concentrations of twenty nine different gases reliably and precisely, even in the toughest conditions including special gases like NO2, O3, COCL2. The robust design, quick response times, and a replaceable battery to for an unlimited lifetime.

The PAC 8000 is simple two-button operation with overmolded for durability and makes this single gas monitor rugged and versatile. Powerful sensors with a very low t-90 ensure quick responses. The PAC 8000 has a large display / bright backlight and features a loud audible alarm, bright visual and robust vibrating alarms.

You can rely on the Draeger Pac 8000: the personal single-gas detection device warns against hazardous
concentrations of Ammonia, Chlorine, Hydrogen Cyanide, Nitric Oxide, Nitrogen Dioxide (as low as 0.04ppm), Organic Vapors, Ozone (as low as 0.02ppm) , Phosphine and Phosgene (as low as 0.01) with precision and reliability. Powerful sensors with a very low t-90 response time ensure quick reactions. The Pac 8000 is versatile thanks to its wide measurement range.

User Friendly Display with all important information-
The large display clearly indicates the respective gas concentration. Other important information, such as the
battery capacity, is also displayed. The bright backlighting ensures that all values are clearly legible in the dark.

Safety in any Situation-
The Pac 8000 is easily handled in even extreme conditions. Depending on the sensor, temperatures from
-40 °C to 55 °C and air pressures between 700 and 1,300 mbar can be tolerated.
A membrane filter protects the sensor from foreign matter such as dust and liquids. The shock-proof,
chemical-resistant housing meets the requirements specified in the IP68 standard rating.

Easy Handling thanks to clear user guidance-
The D-Light indicates whether functionality of the device has been tested and whether it is ready to use. The
housing is also designed with your safety in mind: each sensor variant of the Dräger Pac 8000 features clearly
visible color coding, thereby minimizing the chance of mistakes.

Event Logger-
The Dräger Pac 8000 logs concentrations along with their dates and times. An infrared interface allows
them to be loaded onto the PC for further analysis.

360 degree Alarm with various functions-
If the Dräger Pac 8000 measures hazardous gas concentrations, it sets off an audible, visual and perceptible
vibrating alarm. Two bright, flashing LEDs on the top and bottom of the device ensure that the alarm is
easily visible from all sides. The acoustic signal reaches a volume of 90 dB. The display can show the peak concentration measured at any given moment. Earlier alarms registered can also be retrieved at a later time, even if they have been acknowledged.

Robust Design - even for the toughest conditions-
The Dräger XXS sensors offer greater safety through extremely fast reaction times. The robust sensors can also
be used in extreme environmental conditions without triggering a false alarm.

Fast Function Test Saves Time and Money-
The recommended function tests ensure that the device works flawlessly when performed regularly with a
certain gas concentration. Function tests and calibrations can also be carried in the Dräger X-dock® calibration station. The automatic
bump tests in the X-dock are a cost-efficient and convenient solution thanks to the short test duration and
the extremely low consumption of test gas. The Pac 8000 is simply placed in the bump test station and
automatically selects the correct setting.

Economical Operating Costs-
All versions of the Pac 8000 are equipped with extremely durable DraegerSensors and a powerful battery.
The Pac 6500 is protected against water, dust and other foreign bodies by a special membrane filter. When the
filter becomes heavily soiled in use, you can quickly and easily replace it yourself. The device is then ready to
use again right away.
